School Leaders and School Council

In line with our Fundamental British Values, our Head Boys and Head Girls, Sports Leaders and School Council members are democratically elected by staff and pupils in school. Head Boys and Head Girls present their manifesto to the whole school and a ballot is held during which democracy and the rule of law is practiced.

Our Head Boys and Head Girls are year 6 pupils who are called upon to conduct tours of our school and to carry out presentations to visitors and parents during various events in the school calendar. This is a very prestigious role in school and one to which the younger pupils aspire.

Sports Leaders represent their Houses: Bodkins, Northmoor and Pendon. They help coordinate whole school competitions and sporting events.

School Council is responsible for coordinating charity and school events. We have a representative from each year group on this Council.

Pupils are also given the opportunity to volunteer to become part of other focused groups such as Global Ambassadors, working on global issues and improving our awareness of them and Eco Council focus on our environment and how to become even more ecologically aware.
