In line with our Fundamental British Values, our House Captains and School Council members are democratically elected by staff and pupils in school. House Captains present their manifesto to the whole school and a ballot is held during which democracy and the rule of law is practised.

Our House Captains are year 6 pupils who are called upon to conduct tours of our school and to carry out presentations to visitors and parents during various events in the school calendar. This is a very prestigious role in school and one to which the younger pupils aspire. They also help coordinate whole school competitions and sporting events.

School Council is responsible for coordinating charity and school events. We have a representative from each year group on this Council.

Pupils are also given the opportunity to volunteer to become part of other focused groups such as Global Ambassadors, working on global issues and improving our awareness of them and Eco Council focus on our environment and how to become even more ecologically aware.
