Message from the Headteacher
We’ve had an excellent start to the autumn term; new pupils have settled in brilliantly and it already feels like they’re part of the team! We hope they will all be very happy here at Long Wittenham School. I have been very impressed by the positive attitude to learning and exemplary behaviour of all our pupils. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderfully warm welcome; it’s going to be a great autumn term!
As you would expect, I am working hard to get to know staff and children and put in place policies and procedures for the coming year. I am also working with staff and governors to prepare for our next Ofsted inspection as we expect this soon. I am looking forward to welcoming back parent volunteers as soon as possible as we continue to open up school activities in line with government guidance. In the meantime, there is information about class learning projects on the website and invitations to class meetings on Teams will be sent out next week.
If you have any concerns or questions please do phone or email the school office and we’ll do our best to help.
Warm regards, Gillian Seymour
