Message from the Headteacher,

It’s been another busy week here at Long Wittenham Primary school.

Owls have been retelling the story of The Little Red Hen and produced some fantastic writing. They have also enjoyed baking and tasting bread.

Parrots class have been making fact files about animals and have also really enjoyed making a scrap book about the history of Long Wittenham.

In Eagles class the story Into the Forest has prompted some great discussions and lead to some fantastic 3rd person narrative writing.

Finally, Penguins have concluded their learning about light and really enjoyed the reverse arrow experiment

I’d like to welcome the parents of each class to an informal meeting as a chance to get to know the school community better. These will be on Fridays. Dates as follows:

28th January 9-9:30am – Owls
4th February 9-9:30am – Parrots
11th February 9-9:30am – Eagles
18th February 9-9:30am – Penguins

I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Warm regards, Gillian Fraser
