Message from the Headteacher

Our harvest festival was a real celebration and a lovely chance for our community to come together. Thank you to all who supported the event with donations, flower arranging and your time. It was lovely to welcome the Pre- School children to the service and we will continue to develop our links with the Pre-School in the future.

Another thank you is needed for all the hard work of the PTA and volunteers who arranged the spooky disco for the children. Much fun was had by all.

Learning Highlights:

  • Owls Class have been learning about the Story of The Little Red Hen, which they performed in our harvest service. They also had fun learning to make bread.
  • Parrots Class have been writing diary entries about The Great Fire of London and have continued learning about different types of materials in Science.
  • Eagles Class have been learning lifesaving skills in swimming lessons, they have completed their reading lessons using The Witches text and have been writing a journey story using inverted commas to represent direct speech. In maths, they have been learning how to use column method to add 2 numbers with particular focus on exchanging more than once.
  • Penguins Class have been working hard on their map work skills. They have been trying to draw an accurate to scale map of the classroom.

Have a wonderful half term break!

We are a nut free school.
