Newsletter – 24 April

27th April, 2020

I am thrilled to see that all of our children have returned to this virtual summer term with gusto and the work coming through has been fantastic. It’s lovely to see them making the most of the sunshine and doing so much outdoors.

I’ve also enjoyed the emails I’ve had this week too – keep them coming and thank you Freya, Ryan, Dani, Hannah, Georgia and Ella for your messages. Georgia has even celebrated her birthday in lockdown, although it sounds like they all had an amazing time! Happy birthday Georgia! Has anyone else had a lockdown birthday? If so, what did you get up to?

We’re all working hard to make sure that all of our children are getting access to the work packs we have set for them. We have been trialling the use of Teams to support teaching and learning and should be in a position to share this with you all as a supplement to your child/children’s learning really soon. We are testing how this will work for us and the best way we can use it to support you all. We’ll be in touch as soon as we have all of the technology sorted and will give you guidance on how this works. I know that some of you use Teams for your own work so hopefully it’ll be straight forward.

We are a nut free school.

Families please note that we are strictly a nut free school. Please ensure that no nut products are brought into school or included in packed lunches (even on school trips). Please also ensure that no nut products are consumed within the school grounds at any time of day. Thank you.
