Message from the Headteacher,

It’s been a very busy end to the term. Eagles class put on a fantastic performance of The Story of The Three Trees, which was very well received by those who came to watch it. It was lovely to see such a lot of talent and team work.

Yesterday, the children had a lovely day. There was a real buzz around school in the morning as all the wonderful entries started arriving for the Extravaganza. We were bowled over by the creativity and clever puns. Thank you so much to all who took part. See the winner entries above and below.

The PTA organised a fantastic Easter Egg competition, which the children really enjoyed. Thank you to the Wilson family and PMS Oxford for kindly donating the eggs.

Parrots Class enjoyed making a teddy bears picnic as part of their DT project and thoroughly enjoyed the fruit kababs and sandwiches they made and the other classes all enjoyed an afternoon reward for filling up the marble jar. We also had a non-uniform day raising £55 for the school.

Thank you to the PTA who organised a lovely non-uniform day and cake sale which raised a massive £129. Also, thank you to the TA’s for putting on the Easter Egg raffle organised by the TA’s which again raised £137 for the school. Thank you so much to all who donated.

We finished today with our lovely Easter service. Thank you to all those who came and to the children for putting in such a lot of effort.

Next term, have lots of exciting things planned for the children including the Penguins residential trip and the whole school trip after half term. Staff and governors will continue to work incredibly hard to shape the future of our school, working more intensively with Ridgeway Education Trust and working with the developers in the design of the new school building.

We hope you all get some well-earned rest over Easter, and look forward to welcoming you back for the summer term.

Happy Easter!
