Show our love through kindness, determination and curiosity; strengthening ourselves and our community
Message from the Headteacher,
It has been a pleasure welcoming the returning children back to school and seeing all our new starters settle into school so quickly.
We have taken the start of the new academic year as an opportunity to launch our new vision and values and the children have been working hard to understand them.
This week Eagles had an exciting music workshop run by Mr Reubens. In the session they got to learn about a wide range of instruments and explore beat.
Next week Eagles Class will be having their first keyboard lesson with Kat Melidis and Penguins Class will be having their first French lesson with Nicky Warnock, provided by RET.
On Monday next week we have a photographer from RET coming into school to do some publicity shots. Please can you ensure your child is in school uniform (forest school clothing for Y1). Please can you also make sure your child has their PE kit in school and that it is school colours (blue/black shorts and a white t shirt). As always girls with long hair must have it tied up.
On Thursday 14th September we have our curriculum meetings. Please do come along and meet the class teacher and find out more about what your child will be learning and the class routines.
