Data Protection

From 25th May 2018 there were changes made to the current data protection regulations (GDPR).  Long Wittenham Primary School regards the protection of personal data relating to staff, children and parents/carers as a very important matter.  ​On the school website, in accordance with best practice, we have published our updated data protection policy and Pupil Privacy notice.  The Pupil Privacy notice outlines the pupil information that we collect, hold and share including the lawful basis about how we use this information.​​If you would like a printed copy of the data protection policy and privacy notice please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Privacy on the website

This website does not contain any confidential information on our staff or students. We do not use the website to gather or store information on pupils or parents. We do use Google analytics to help us gather website visitor information for the sole purpose of improving the website for our visitors. For more information see below.

Use of Photographs on the website

Photographs on this site are used on the basis of consent gained from pupils’ parents, guardians and staff. Pupils who’s consent has not been given for use of their image on the website / social media will not be included in photographs on the website. Parents, guardians and children may ask to have specific images of them removed (regardless of general consent) and we will remove them within 2 working days of receiving the request. Please use the contact page to make requests.
